Family Support

Jeff and Becky Georgi have decades of experience in helping families deal with the issues around addiction. We help parents walk the fine line of being supportive of their young adult’s recovery without enabling them. This can include helping parents find their own path to recovery through participation in Al-Anon or other recovery programs. Our Family Support looks to meet the needs of all of the members of the family, not just the young adult. Keeping parents informed of their students’ progress is an important part of our clinicians’ roles and we hold regularly scheduled conference calls between the parents and their student. We also encourage face-to-face meetings, especially in the initial stages of our involvement with families. These meetings allow us to understand the family’s needs and wants so that we can determine which of our services will be the best fit for the young adult and the family as a whole.
